Technical Description

The SAT-INMARSAT-BGAN-KIT consists of a Hughes 9502 modem (marketed as the BGAN-M2M). The BGAN-M2M is specifically designed for long-term unsupervised operation with low power consumption. The modem is supplied configured for operation with Campbell Scientific dataloggers as well as all the necessary cables for connection. Note that the Campbell data logger will also require an NL120 or NL200 Ethernet interface, depending on the datalogger model.
