For the computer site, the kit contains an RF450 radio, 15966 ac transformer, 10873 RS-232 cable, and 20644 dipole antenna. For the field site, the kit contains another RF450 radio, 14241 antenna cable, and 18290 adjustable inclination mount. The field site's antenna is ordered as a common accessory.
RF450 radios provide a maximum transmission distance of 60 miles, and a realistic reliable transmission distance of approximately 13 miles. All transmission distances assume line-of sight and appropriate antenna (line-of-sight obstructions, RF interference, and antenna type will affect transmission distance).
