load cell voltage range

Taggart Dec 21, 2022 01:38 PM

I'm writing a CR1000x program for a Sentran YB6 load cell  The load cell outputs 1.9## mV/V. My excitation voltage is 4000mV. How do I derermine the voltage range for the measurement? I need the most precise measurement possible.

Further, I'm not certain I completely understand this setting. If my excitation voltage is 4000mV, is the range setting my anticipated response voltage from the load cell? Do I want to select the lowest possible range without going below the theoretical maximum voltage output from the load cell?

Thanks in advance.

4 * 1.9 = 7.6 mV max output

That means you should use the mV200 range.
