CSAT3BCBL1-L Power/SDM Cable for CSAT3B

Overview

The Power/SDM cable CSAT3BCBL1-L is used to deliver power and SDM communications to a CSAT3B. The -L denotes the length of cable in feet. One end of the cable always has a 6-pin M16 connector that mates with the Power/SDM port on the back of the CSAT3B block. The other end of the cable has the following two options:

  • The -PT option specifies the cable end to have pigtail wire leads for connecting to the datalogger SDM ports and power supply.
  • The -MC option specifies the cable end to have an M16 connector, which can be used to connect to a 30293 Power/SDM Splitter, in the case of a network of CSAT3B anemometers daisy-chained in series.

If CPI or RS-485 communications will be used, it is possible to use the CSAT3BCBL1-L, but the SDM wires will be unused. If SDM communications will never be used, order the CSAT3BCBL2-L and CSAT3BCBL3-L for power and CPI/RS-485 communications, respectively.

  • The -PT option specifies the cable end to have pigtail wire leads for connecting to the data logger SDM ports and power supply.
  • The -MC option specifies the cable end to have an M16 connector, which can be used to connect to a 30293 Power/SDM Splitter, in the case of a network of CSAT3B anemometers daisy-chained in series.
